People 1st Reach the Finals of Prestigious EU Awards
Supply chain partner People 1st, has reached the finals of the RegioStars Awards 2019 for the WISE project.
WISE (Women's Integrated Skills & Employment) is a project running in Donegal, helping women return to employment, education or self-employment.
The project offers dedicated support with CV building, cover letter and interview skills, job brokering and access to employment and educational opportunities, as well as self-employment guidance. Dedicated advisers also provide confidence, motivational building and development opportunities.
Every year, the European Commission awards those EU-funded projects, which demonstrate excellence and new approaches in regional development. The WISE project was chosen as a finalist within Category 3: Combatting Inequalities and Poverty.
An independent jury will now choose a winner, however there is also an opportunity for the public to vote for their favourite project across all categories. To show your support vote for the project here.
The WISE Project is co-funded by the Department of Justice and Equality and the European Social Fund (ESF) as part of the ESP Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning (PEIL) 2014-2020.
Seetec works closely with People 1st in Donegal where they deliver the JobPath programme on our behalf. We wish the WISE project the best of luck in the finals.
