Over 900 People in Clondalkin Helped Back into Work

We are delighted to confirm that Seetec has helped over 900 people in Clondalkin into full-time and part-time employment through the JobPath service for the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP).

On Friday 23rd November, business partners from Dublin joined Seetec staff as well as Frances Fitzgerald T.D. for Dublin Mid-West and Mayor of Clondalkin, South Dublin County Council Councillor Mark Ward at a community event.

The community event was hosted at our Clondalkin centre and coincided with figures we released showing that the Clondalkin team has helped 854 people in the community secure full-time employment and 80 into part-time work.

Seetec is contracted by the DEASP to deliver the JobPath service which aims to help the long-term unemployed.  It supports service users with careers guidance, self-employment advice, CV support, as well as interview and I.T training.  Its Clondalkin office has so far partnered with more than 600 businesses in the area.

Justin Mulhern, Business Manager at Seetec Clondalkin said: “We’ve worked hard to become a valuable part of the community here in Clondalkin. Our hard working staff are fully focused on continuing to make this contribution.”

Customer service business, Concentrix, has partnered with Seetec since 2016 hiring more than 100 people through Seetec.

Erika Seery, a Recruitment Supervisor at the Concentrix’s Santry and Swords offices added: “Seetec Clondalkin have been excellent partners to work with. We have a relationship that continues to go from strength-to-strength and we’re delighted to be able to work closely to provide working opportunities to Seetec clients. For us, using Seetec’s services has provide a vital tool to assist us in our recruitment process.”
